Law and Background on Federal Tax Provisions Relating to Health Care
(04/28/98)This document, prepared by the staff of the House Joint
Committee on Taxation, provides a description (Part I) of present-law
rules and legislative background for certain Federal tax provisions
affecting health care (other than tax-exempt organizations and tax-exempt
bond provisions relating to hospitals and other health care organizations).
In addition, Part II of this document discusses data on the utilization
of certain of these tax provisions under present law.
